Grace Metalious the band, was born in the
dark, down in a hot humid basement. The kind of
place where music that's made there, will, out of
necessesity, sound like a soul that's screaming in
hell. The primary participants in this sordid
alchemy are Mason Mixx and Shafter
Wasco.
It had been an agonizingly long time between
projects for Mason and given that he had started
to grow fangs and howl at the moon, the sole
remedy was to write and record some new material.
If only to confirm that the machinery was still
functioning. Mind you, the abject need to create
was at an absolute fever pitch.
The stellar bass and guitar skills of Shafter Wasco
plays a critical role in bringing this monster to
life. Blending seamlessly with the songwriting of
Mason
Mixx, they both successfully created the
skeleton and living tissue that would become Grace
Metalious. |
